Mission:
Child’s World America is a catalyst for improving the well-being of children in our society.
We accomplish this by:
• Promoting the appreciation of children’s perspectives and fostering a better understanding of childhood experience
• Organizing collaboration and dialogue across individuals, professionals and organizations committed to helping children.
• Together, creating a community with a united voice for educating and advocating for child-centered public policies.
About CWA:
Child's World America is a national, non-partisan, nonprofit, 501(C)3 charitable organization committed to promoting the appreciation of children in our society and to foster a better understanding of the experience of childhood.
We seek to honor the child's own perspective on the world they inhabit and to give voice to that perspective.
We seek to support and build community among those who care for and work to improve the lives of our society's children.
We seek to collaboratively create and support the development of innovative programs designed to improve the experience of childhood.
We seek to educate the public and advocate on behalf of the rights, needs and betterment of the experience of children in our society.
Our goal is to organize a community of members across the many professional fields of child-relevant activity. (Teachers, Pediatricians, Nurses, Librarians, Entertainers, Academics, Social Workers, Attorneys etc.)
Child's World America will be producing a digital news platform (Child's World Navigator) that covers news, opinions, best practices, analysis of public policy initiatives, etc. of areas of interest to our readers/members. This publication is scheduled to be launched in the later part of 2015. The Navigator organization will also produce videos and hold special gathering events such as conferences and symposiums.
Child's World America will also feature a Speaker's Bureau of credible professionals across many topic areas who bring authority to their subject and will receive from us media training, publicity and representation before major media outlets across the country that periodically need experts to comment on current issues (e.g. Vaccination, children immigration, child hunger, child abuse, and trauma.)
